Direct driving to the world’s biggest sanctuary – Borobudur. Spare more of your time at Borobudur to admire the amazing relief works depicting stories of Sidharta Gautama and his teachings. Extra visit to Pawon, kitchen temple used to keep holy water during Waicak ceremony and Mendut temple, the home of big Budha Cakyamuni statue. Lunch will be served at local restaurant. Other extra visit to Kaliadem village located on the southern saddle of Merapi (some 30 km north of Yogyakarta – 45 minutes drive). Here you can observe closely one of the most active volcanoes in the world.
Afterward, trip to Prambanan plain area (situated 17 km east of Yogya), known as the biggest single concentration of ancient site ever found in Indonesia. Also visit Sewu temples located at the same area with Prambanan temples. Next drive up to the hill side where the king Boko’s palace ruins situated. Visit this site at the late afternoon time will enable you to see and enjoy sunset. Next have dinner at local restaurant. After dinner, Watch Ramayana ballet performance (7:00 pm – 9:30 pm) . Ramayana ballet performance is a popular traditional spectacleof which story taken from Hindhu epic depicting a man’s struggle againts the evils. Rama, Shinta and Hanoman symbolize goodness, honesty and wisdom. While Rahwana a s an icon of evil resides every human’s life aspect. Upon completion back to hotel.
