Ramayana Ballet great epic performance – not to be miss if you are in jogja. its a dream come true to experience a javanese folks epic dance from the mahabrata legend.
i really enjoy the show when the performers were showing all the smooth and unique local dance gestures. they were enthusiastic while performing and nothing you can find somewhere else since it is locally contented.
my advice, if you are not familiar with the mahabrata epic, read something before going to the show or read the simple printout they provide at the entrance to appreciate the show.
they dont have shows everyday so please plan your visit. if possible try to book good seat through your travel since it can be full during public holidays.
